A Living Room ReVamp

Nicole Cohen of Sketch 42 has revamped her living room with some serious style and I have to say it..... I'm in love!  Not only is this space full of covet worthy pieces, but it's incredibly livable.  Nicole specifically designed the room with her family in mind and I will always admire a space that is just as functional as it is beautiful over one that simply looks good in a photograph.

The BEFORE shot of the living room.

Nicole has struck a great balance in this room.  Although most of the pieces are modern the rich leathers, warm woods and earth toned rug add warmth and diversity to the space.  The sectionals clean lines keep the flow while adding a touch of casual that is welcoming and comfortable.  Nicole has carefully sought out her pieces and surrounded herself with her art and items she loves.  This is a great example of how patience pays in the end.   It's the hardest lesson I've had to learn.  Sometimes you go without those end tables until you find exactly what you're looking for.  The sacrifice and aggravation will be well worth it in the end.  You can see more of Nicole's home over at Rue Magazine.
