When I hear the word COPPER images of old leaky pipes and dirty pennies immediately come to mind. This multi-talented metal has been in use since the dawn of man and I'm just going to say it - The years have not been kind. Over the last 200 years this poor metal has gotten the short end of the stick and been assigned some burly jobs. It's plumbing, it's electrical, it's used to build ships, trains and automobiles. There's been nothing precious about this metal.... Until Now! Copper has always played a part in design, but now it's bringing the X Factor with it!
First let me express my desperate need for those Tom Dixon pendants. I've been lusting to use them in a space. They may just have to find their way into our next home! Who knew copper could feel so lux! Whether you give it a glamorous high shine or like yours with a rustic low luster, copper can bring great style to your space.

I would like to take a minute and share just how much it saddens me that this world has lost a talent like Philip Seymour Hoffman. I consider him to be one of the greatest actors of my time and will always be thankful for Pirate Radio, Capote, Charlie Wilson's War, The Big Lebowski, the list goes on and on. His body of work is astounding! My heart goes out to his family
On another note....I thought the Super Bowl sucked this year. Not because the Broncos lost ( It would have been nice if they had shown up to the game ) but because it just fell flat. I wasn't wowed by any commercials and that's the best part! A friend texted me in the 3rd quarter and was so bored they gave up and went to bed. Seriously y'all, millions upon millions of dollars spent and the only thing worth the money was Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. That was actually awesome! I had to get up and shake my thang a little during that performance. Love it or hate it the Super Bowl is an american tradition that gives us an excuse to hang with friend, fill up on our favorite foods, partake in some spirits and call into work on Monday. Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend!
