Shabby Doesn't Always Equal Chic

When you think of painted furniture what is the first image that pops in your mind?  For most it is shabby chic or distressed furniture.  I live on the coast of North Carolina and this kind of furniture finish is wildly popular.  It's just not for me!  While I enjoy the look of shabby furniture it's not the only option for giving a old piece new life.  I truly believe that you can recycle any old piece of furniture into something clean and beautiful.  It can be relevant and completely personalized to your individual tastes.

This Campaign dresser went from dingy mess to a sexy lady with just a little faith, elbow grease and high gloss enamel paint!  Remember..... Giving old furniture new life doesn't mean that it still has to look old!  It can be glamorous, masculine, modern, traditional... you name it.  The sky is the limit when it comes to furnishing your home.
