Richard Nixon Throw - Jonathan Adler
I love the transition from summer to fall!  Warm earth tones help to prepare for the chill of winter.  I could show you a dozen DIY projects for center pieces and wreathes, but I'm thinking more long term investment pieces that you can pull out year after year to warm up your home.  The Richard Nixon throw shown above is just the right amount of spice to throw over the back of your sofa.  It screams curl up with me and be fabulous.  Not only will this bring some autumn color, but it's useful year round!

Owl Votive Holder at Pier One
Most of you know that I'm in love with owls.  This 70's throwback is fun and whimsical.  This amber cutie would look great on any table with short cuttings of harvest flowers.

Suzani Embroidered Pillow Cover at Pottery Barn
This pillow is sophisticated in gold and rich browns.  The embroidery gives it texture and warmth that we all look for this time of year.  Buying pillow covers make it easy to change out styles and keep our seasonal decor looking great for years.  It doesn't require precious storage space to tuck away this beauty during the spring and summer months.  It's a Win Win!

Moroccan Tile Dhurri Rug at Shades of Light
I had to throw in this rug.  Orange is a wonderful color all year round.  This simple pattern can update any space for a fresh feel.
Let us know your fabulous fall finds!
